The cornbread was absent, and the poutine was cold as well. The only highlight of the meal was the delicious deep-fried pickles, which were quite good.
Unfortunately, the ribs were overcooked and dry. However, everything else was really great.
The service was excellent. The food was fantastic as well; we were a group of friends, and everyone ordered different dishes. Everything we tried was delicious. I also liked that you can leave messages for the staff on the tables.
The "stew" turned out to be more of a soup and was not very flavorful. I wouldn't recommend it given the price. However, everything else was excellent, though it was slightly cold since I noticed that the dasher lingered at the restaurant for a while after picking up the order.
My experience at this restaurant was by far the most frustrating I've ever encountered. We arrived at 8:00 PM (the restaurant closes at 9:00 PM) and found it about three-quarters full, with many tables left uncleared. When we asked to be seated, the server informed us there would be a 20-minute wait because they were "full." It left me wondering: is it common for a quarter of the restaurant to have reservations that arrive just before closing? Or do the staff prefer to wrap things up early and leave as soon as possible? Perhaps they were short-staffed? Regardless of the reason, it was frustrating to see so many obviously empty tables while we were told we had to wait.
