Montana's - Prince George

My experience at this restaurant was by far the most frustrating I've ever encountered. We arrived at 8:00 PM (the restaurant closes at 9:00 PM) and found it about three-quarters full, with many tables left uncleared. When we asked to be seated, the server informed us there would be a 20-minute wait because they were "full." It left me wondering: is it common for a quarter of the restaurant to have reservations that arrive just before closing? Or do the staff prefer to wrap things up early and leave as soon as possible? Perhaps they were short-staffed? Regardless of the reason, it was frustrating to see so many obviously empty tables while we were told we had to wait.

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We understand that every restaurant can have an off night, so we gave it a chance, but after today, it will be a long time before we return. My children's grilled cheese had clearly been sitting for too long—the cheese was gummy, and the bread was only partially grilled and falling apart. As for the adults’ meals, they were cold. We also struggled to get anyone's attention, as the staff seemed to be absent. In the end, they offered a 10% discount, but we still left feeling unsatisfied with both the food and the service.

The service was excellent. The food was fantastic as well; we were a group of friends, and everyone ordered different dishes. Everything we tried was delicious. I also liked that you can leave messages for the staff on the tables.

With my family Friday night. fish and chips, med steak and child dish. fish and chips and children's dishes came and were good. steak came and it was closer to roar when she met, sent her back. 2 times it came back, it was still under done and we sent it back. 3. it came out, it was cooked properly, but as we waited, my wife couldn't eat with us and had to eat alone. also replaces the frits on the child's meal, got only 4 small frits. they asked for manager and gave us only 50% of the steak. also the wooden chairs on concrete all night was not more pleasant sound. would not recommend it again. but our server was great and pleasant. well done.

I was exited for a steak! The 10oz striploin was a sad, grey looking piece of meat. No colour/ grill marks. Chewy. Cheap meat. Very disappointing. Definitely not what I paid for. Would not go back.
