China Sail - Prince George

The food at this restaurant can be hit or miss. On one hand, the ginger pork and mushroom chow are phenomenal. However, on the other hand, the mandel huh dish looked more like fish today, but tasted like a strange blend of something between meat and fish. The restaurant is closing soon, which I feel reflects in the quality of their food and customer service. Both have been lacking during our last few visits.

We have been loyal patrons of this outstanding restaurant for over 45 years, even before its current location. The ambiance and cuisine became a beloved family tradition for us. We have fond memories of the wonderful owners and it has become a habit for us to enjoy their food every Christmas Eve. Our holiday season always started with a visit to China Sail, where children were always welcomed.

I was very disappointed with the fried rice with gravy at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the staff did not offer a refund or a replacement dish.

We always order Chinese food from here. whenever I bring my children to get it, they give a bag of sucking and lucky cookies that children love it.
