The waitress told us they only have white and brown bread available. The mushroom omelette I ordered was overcooked, lacked ingredients apart from eggs and a few mushrooms, and was overly salty. The salad had just two thin tomato slices and a bit of lettuce. The home fries were also too salty to be eaten. My girlfriend ordered the hot turkey sandwich, but the white bread tasted like cardboard and was soaked in salty gravy. She could only eat a small portion due to the overwhelming saltiness. It's difficult to understand why anyone would recommend this place for a meal.
Was there on June 22/22 .... Ordered the Hot Turkey Sandwich .. it was drenched with salt. Couldn't taste any of the food at all, just salt. Very disappointing.
The souvlaki at this restaurant is outstanding. The service and prices are top-notch. We were seated quickly and the atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Ever since we moved to this area, we have frequented this restaurant multiple times and have always enjoyed an excellent dining experience for both lunch and dinner.
We were looking for a quick lunch while passing through Picton. The service was fast and friendly. The food was decent but nothing remarkable, typical diner fare. The waitress was attentive. The restaurant could use some cleaning up and a fresh coat of paint. The walls are covered in clutter that doesn't add any charm to the room, just looks dirty.
We were here for breakfast as our resort's restaurant didn't open till noon! The food was really good, especially the potatoes! Our server was so nice and had lots of helpful ideas of where to go and what to do in the area. Not the cheapest place for breakfast but it is a resort town and I'm sure they are all struggling. We were really happy with what we all had.
