We received such warm and friendly service from the owner! Despite the cold night, nothing could deter us from enjoying the most exquisite drink I've ever had—a blue velvet martini that's only available here. The atmosphere is perfectly set up for a delightful conversation while enjoying a variety of tapas. The meatballs are wonderfully rich in tomato flavor and cooked to perfection. If you're a fan of tapas, you absolutely must visit this place. The cakes also looked fantastic, and I can honestly say that if I were to host a small gathering, this would be my top choice. It was absolutely delightful! We had an incredible time, and the wine was excellent. We both enjoyed the Durbanville Hill Merlot Rosé. To complement our wine, we opted for the mini burger platter. It included a mushroom sauce and a cheese sauce, both of which were wonderful. The platter came with a small basket of chips for each of us, along with three beef burgers and three chicken burgers. This was perfect for us, especially for such a great price (R150, or R75 each when shared). The quality of the food was so impressive that I’ll definitely be back for those burgers again soon—along with the wine! Although the restaurant was empty, with just the two of us for most of the time, the atmosphere remained warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. Overall, the evening was a joyful and delicious experience. Tapa Vino is a fantastic spot to enjoy a glass of wine with an old friend or even have a fun girls' night out with your best pals.

My husband and I wanted to explore something new, so we found Tapa Vino, which was listed as newly opened on Zomato, and decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised! The service was friendly, and the food was excellent. We especially appreciated the beautiful presentation of the dishes. The attention to hospitality felt like a warm blanket on a cold winter night.

Recently opened and definitely need to give it a try. We had such an amazing time. Service is incredible and the owner is so sweet, always there : we were treated to an array of tapas which were of course delicious, the meatball tapas are my favorite. We then had a Blue Velvet Margarita which was delicious and so potent Gold tequila with triple sec, blue curacoa and lime cordial we then had the Tapa Vino Special which had that fruitiness to it but really tasty. Most happy with our lunch. Meals were exactly what we wanted and how we ordered it. Good attentive service. Highly recommended. Pity there weren't more patrons today because they deserve to be busy.
