Tribeca Campus - Pretoria

A hidden gem! During my visit to the University of Cape Town, I was warmly welcomed by Tribeca Coffee located at the University of Pretoria. The food is exceptional, especially compared to the artisanal offerings at UCT, making it a perfect spot for students to unwind, whether to catch up with a friend after an exam or just to enjoy some quality time. My friends and I sampled several items from the menu and agreed that you can’t go wrong with any choice you make. While I hate to highlight any negatives, the service can occasionally be slow, and the latte sizes tend to be smaller than the industry standard. However, the management is always eager to assist, and the upbeat techno playlist will definitely keep you energized.

Tribeca is one of those trendy restaurants. I visited the location at the University of Pretoria, and we went there because we had a voucher; otherwise, it might have been out of our budget. It reminded me of the types of restaurants you see in American movies, where the waiter brings you the bill with a suggested tip for their service. The food was fantastic—it was truly delicious. What I loved most about Tribeca is that everything is homemade, and you can really taste the quality in each dish.

The drink menu offers a nice variety of both hot and cold options, and I enjoyed all the beverages I tried. This place is perfect for those looking to work or catch up with friends. There are plenty of power outlets available for students to plug in their laptops, and the university's Wi-Fi has a strong signal. The atmosphere is very laid-back. The waitstaff generally allow customers to enjoy their conversations or work in peace, but this can lead to slower service, especially if you aren't ordering takeaway.

Beautiful landscape, good service and even better food! Your special drinks are to-die-for! I have never been unhappy and not satisfied. Very friendly and accommodating You have recommended meals for most diatary restrictions too much

Occasionally very full due to beginning of semesters. Staff are sometimes friendly ,depending on which waitress helps you. Really delicious food. I recommend the bird pizza, the cheesy fries and the old school toasted cheese sandwich.
