Xs Espresso Prestons

What I find most appealing about XS Espresso is its extensive menu options, making it perfect for brunch meetings or desserts. The food is decent, though there are some hits and misses among the menu items. The prices are reasonable, although some items can be on the pricier side. My main complaint is that the service is consistently slow, and the café often seems under-staffed. I've visited a few times, and this has been a consistent issue.

The staff demonstrated a lack of basic communication skills and common sense. Our glasses were dirty, and two items from our order were incorrect. Additionally, there was a hair found in our takeaway food. We should have anticipated the issues when we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated, despite the café not being busy. After a disappointing experience at Gregory Hills recently, we won’t be returning to XS. Given the prices, XS needs to improve significantly.

I had a wonderful visit to XS in Preston. The café is clean and inviting, and the food is excellent. I ordered the Happy Bowl, which was absolutely delicious and a perfect healthy option after my workout. I'm typically not a huge fan of hummus, but the beet hummus here was spectacular. I look forward to returning to try more dishes, particularly from their lunch and dessert menus! The prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering the quality of the food, I think it's well worth it.

We ordered great breakfast and Spanish, tomatoes are all very salty. it is too bad and if one of waitresses asked us how to eat about her. we told her that everything is good, only Spanish and tomato are laid too much salt and she said it was impossible. I don't know what I can say. I want to tell her the truth. but she doesn't believe it. Hopefully they can improve it. because I tried other xs in other areas and they are all good.

Love this place! Such a great place to have brunch or catch up with friends or loved ones. The food is so fresh and it definitely Instagram worthy
