If you want cold food served by uninterested staff, the. You won’t be disappointed. We went fir lunch , one ordered soup and a toasted ciabatta, the other hunters chicken off the Ember Classics menu. The soup was cool , the ciabatta similar. No spoon fir the soup, no knife for the butter, The hunters chicken came dry, no bbq sauce. When we took it to the waiter and enquired where the bbq sauce was, we were told it was “inside the chicken “ . Interesting, and of course it wasn’t. The dry) chicken was warm, not hot the chips similar. After a while it wasn’t particularly busy) a waiter eventually came to us and asked were we enjoying our meal , my husband told him he was eating it as quickly as he could as it had arrived luke warm. The waiter nodded , said oh it’s not hot ….and wandered off, never to return. Absolute not interested of course he want , they make you pay before the food is served. Dreadful lunch, no atmosphere, waiters not interested. Woukdnt go back again!

This was a super fun night, always great entertainment and the bar staff are lovely. We had some delay on food but the staff offered us a free round and Hannah saw to it amazingly. Great customer service and great environment.

A late afternoon/ very early evening meal. We ordered via the QR code on the table, although you can order at the bar if you prefer! Our meals took less than 20 minutes to be served. They were hot and enjoyable and in nice comfortable surroundings. There was a good choice of cask conditioned ales and other drinks available. Would definitely recommend it.

We arrived around 1:45pm on Sunday. The pub wasn’t too busy, which made the long wait of over 45 minutes for the food inexcusable. When the good was brought out it did not match the description on the menu with several items missing. When we queried this, some but not all, of the items were brought out in separate bowls and we did receive an apology. Having said that the food was well cooked and tasty. It was a shame that one of the waitresses was making an awful noise sliding chairs and tables across the floor, making everyone cringe!

We’ve ordered from here a few times via Deliveroo and the first couple of times were absolutely fine and the food was great, the last 3 times have been awful! Mainly due to the orders being wrong, due to allergies the burger has been ordered plain which is clearly on the deliveroo receipt attached to the bag but every time the pub gets it wrong honestly it’s like they plaster extra sauce on so the person can’t eat it and end up just having chips! it’s also previously done this with others items so I wouldn’t recommend ordering through delivery Apps.
