Angelos Pizzeria - Preston

Recently opened for christmas after the renovation. the new, simple and modern interieur is up to date and as stylish as ever. it also has a brand new cook and manager and is now one of the best resteraunts in preston. it is a must for a girl to shop outside or a family dinner after a hard day. is the place to be in preston.

Fab start a girly night out. I was with a friend yesterday. we were happy to do tapas, but was not impressed by pond last time that we have so calmed down here as it looked beautiful inside. personal, where very friendly and service was excellent. we shared various appetizers instead of abnormal meal and had oliven nad garlic brot (which was perfect. only crispy, without being dry the chicken wings and the crayfish were amazing with salad that was not over dressed. we also had the bauch black warmer on the special menu, which was left only by not crispy enough. that might be a question of taste. only one suggestion would be that since the huh was so delicious, it had to be picked up by hand to suck all the taste of the bones, so please give us a finger dish. enjoyed the evening and saw some main courses going. presentation looked good, so will soon be again for our main course!

We decided to eat at this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend who lives in Preston. It was a quiet Monday night with only us and one other table in the restaurant. We were seated at a table near the open kitchen, and I watched as the chef played with his phone while handling pizza dough and toppings. I saw him put his fingers in his ears and scratch his nose without washing his hands. Concerned about the hygiene practices, I spoke to a staff member who then informed the head chef. Despite this, the chef continued to play on his phone without any apology or explanation. We were disappointed with the lack of professionalism and hygiene standards in the open kitchen, and it made us question what might be happening behind closed doors. In the end, the head chef took care of our bill, but overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Always a fab atmosphere and lovely food however £9 for a glass of Rose wine and only one option so could not even choose from a selection seems very unreasonable this is Preston not London!

Lovely atmosphere, service was a little slow with the drinks, staff were very friendly. Food was tasty and good sized portions, reasonable prices too.
