Tim Hortons - Prescott

Like I always say...Always time for a good cup of coffee

The customer service at this Tim Hortons was very disappointing. We encountered a situation where a trainee and another employee were taking our order. Unfortunately, they missed a few items, and when we brought it to their attention, the non-trainee employee rudely claimed that we never mentioned those items. Despite our explanation, she was uncooperative and seemed unwilling to correct the mistake. When we asked for her name, no one provided it, so we spoke to the supervisor instead. The supervisor was understanding and patient, but the rude employee continued to rush through orders and even made offensive remarks as she left her shift. Despite this unpleasant experience, the food was good.

I typically stop at the Tim Hortons located at the Ultramar gas station in Prescott on Sundays, and I am always surprised to see 4 to 5 girls standing at the drive-through window. One person handles the cash while the trainee is left to do all the cleaning. This seems to happen every time I visit. While I understand the importance of drive-through times, it would be helpful if at least one of the girls could assist the person at the cash register. On my most recent visit, there was a line of nine people and the lone young man was trying to serve everyone by himself. The baker was occupied in the kitchen with another staff member who worked at the drive-through. Meanwhile, the girls at the drive-through were preoccupied with chatting, hugging, and playing with each other's hair. The trainee, named Emily, was left to clean everything on her own while they socialized. This is not the first time I have observed this behavior at this location. It seems to occur every time I visit, and I believe there should be a supervisor or manager on the floor to oversee the operations. It is disappointing to see that none of the girls offered to assist the overwhelmed young man. This lack of teamwork and support reflects poorly on the management of this establishment.

Tim Horton's is a reliable option with a wide variety of food choices that are consistently delicious.
