Very diverse menu and quality choices. Full bar and friendly staff. We came late and nothing lacked service or available menu items. I went with another critic's suggestion of apple and ice cream dessert and was very glad I did. I'd definitely eat again here.

Here for dinner on the reviews about Yelp. Enjoy the streets of the old town. The Uptown is a quiet atmosphere, a large dining area and tables are spacious. ordered the Taco salad bowl, turkey spinach avocado packing and baked potato. I can testify to the sandwich that was fresh, generous and tasty. The Taco salad was also fresh and delicious. The taco bowl was generous. Even if we were stuffed, we could not go without shaking their fried apple ice cream. Said Stephanie (some waitress) we shared the dessert. She came back with two (good size) dessert cups, which was safe more than a dessert size. If you visit this restaurant, order this dessert. This meal was so full, skipped breakfast on the following day.... highly recommended!

While we travel around Wichita to Dodge City, we found this wonderful café on the map and are so glad we did. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Our waitress was wonderful. The Bratbeef was tasteful and so delicate, and my husband said that the catfish was the best he had ever eaten. That would definitely be our place if we were living in the area.

Always a great meal. Ms Becky and her team are the working folks in the food business. If you think the food is good try the drinks !
