Nekter Juice - Prairie Village

The bowls at this restaurant are fantastic! They are very natural and not overly sweetened. My family and I had a great experience. My husband tried the Tropical Citrus summer bowl, while I opted for the Açaí Banana Berry bowl. There was a bit of a wait—around 15 minutes—given how busy they were, but the bowls are packed with a variety of ingredients and are beautifully presented, making the wait well worth it.

I'm giving this restaurant three stars solely because the food was passable. Unfortunately, the flavors were quite bland. The staff seemed rude and rushed, and they didn't do a good job of explaining the promotional items. We noticed that five customers who arrived after us received their more complex orders before ours was even addressed! My bowl sat untouched for about five to ten minutes before anyone came to help. One of the employees made us feel embarrassed for not understanding the coupon promotions and then proceeded to delay our order even further. I won't be returning to this location, and I would advise others to reconsider as well.

For a smoothie bowl costing $15, I expect much better customer service. I waited over 20 minutes, even though the place was empty. When I finally received my bowl, it was overflowing and covered in sticky syrup. The staff member didn't bother to clean it off or offer any assistance; she just shrugged and said, "Sorry, it's messy."

My new favorite spot is Nekter for their delicious berry bowls! I really enjoy both the Corinth and Hawthorn Plaza locations. The best part is that you can order online, and your order will be ready for you to grab and go!
