Il Saraceno - PRAIA A MARE

Found on the internet. we ordered the maxi pizza that was served with different seasonings, really a great pizza, thanks also to the wood oven.

I had dinner with my partner in this restaurant. - sound top. good food, friendly service and account in the norm. recommend it

I ate here for the first time yesterday and I was thoroughly impressed. Great location with lovely views of the coast, we ate on the terrace which made for a very pleasant and breezy evening. We all had pizzas and the selection was fantastic traditional dough but with an interesting variety of topping that play interestingly on both tradition and flavours. we took 4 pizzas and shared them amongst us all delicious! A particular highlight for me was the crema di porcini and courgettes pizza with smoked scamorza cheese. Service friendly and all for the modest price of 64 euros including drinks and desserts. If you are passing through Praia a Mare it's definitely worth stopping!

Located off the coastal road this charming restaurant offers some of the best locally sourced dishes with quite possibly the best panoramic views of the Policastrian coast!!! Visited this restaurant a couple of times with friends and it has never failed to impress in both dishes and dining experience!!! I have often enjoyed the on offer variety of both pizzas and seafood!!! Thoroughly recommended if you are visiting this beautiful stretch of the Calabrian coast!! Buon appetito!!!!

Used to eat here a lot but now no more last visit was rushed and UN friendly. family run restaurant and often busy, food ok and pizza to go. July and August gets very busy and they expect you to book but not practical if you are on holiday! Owners are often abrupt and even rude, eat and go is the way, not on sea front the restaurant is high above on main road, popular with locals. Problem with local restaurants in area the service is not good they just never try!
