Kens Pizza - Prague

We checked out the salad bar, and the salad mix was visibly low and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. My friend asked if they could replenish it with some fresh salad mix, but the server informed us that her manager had said they were out of lettuce and that was all they had left. We found that hard to believe; what pizza place with a salad bar would be out of lettuce on a weekend? Despite our reservations, we decided to give the food a try and regretted it. My friend ordered beets that tasted fermented, having clearly been left out for far too long. My French dressing was unappetizing—previously, they had the best French dressing, but this one was overly sour and unpalatable. My friend and I decided to share a club sandwich, but it was a letdown. The bun was so small that it could be consumed in just three bites and contained barely any filling—a single piece of turkey, one piece of ham folded over, and some cheese—it was extremely dry with only a drop of ranch dressing. Another friend ordered chicken wings, and she declared them equally disappointing. We all ordered Coke, which turned out to be watered down and tasteless. The only bright spot of the experience was our server, who was friendly and attentive throughout our disappointing meal. I really don’t know what’s happened to Ken’s, but it’s clearly not the same as it used to be! I’ve seen many negative reviews online, and you would think the owner or manager might respond to them and work on improving food quality. We were very disappointed and won’t be returning. Decent pizza, empty hand sanitizer containers on the walls. Place was empty when we walked in at noon on a Saturday multiple workers working, we were not greeted with a smile, this was our first time eating here, we had no idea if we were to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. We stood there for a moment and after no one made a move to help us we grabbed a menu off the counter and seated ourselves. A waitress finally came over and took our order. After eating we had to wait at least 15 min for the to go box we asked for, at this time there were only 2 other tables in the dining room. Then we were unsure if were to wait for a ticket or pay up front because she just set the box on the table without saying a word and walked off. Horrible service. Will not eat here again. Don’t waste your time or money. Not even worth it.

The experience was disappointing when the cashier couldn't explain the menu. There was a lot of confusion about what we ordered, and I found the pizza to be bland while the cinnamon sticks were stale. The sandwich was unappetizing enough that we had to ask for it to be remade. The total for this meal was over $12 plus tax, and I'm not sure it's worth that price. It has potential, but it needs significant improvement. I believe the owner should take responsibility, as it seems to be run by inexperienced teens without proper guidance.
