Osteria D.o.c. - POZZUOLI

The best restaurant in or near Naples! Pozzuoli’s “Via Napoli” is a lively colorful area, especially in the evenings, and Osteria DOC is easily the most authentic and entertaining restaurant on the main strip. It’s clearly beloved by locals as well as expats the handful of tourists lucky enough to find it. The food is delicious I can’t recommend it highly enough!

This restaurant serves the epitome of homemade Italian food. Don’t go in and order off the menu, just go and ask them to make you a traditional meal of their best dishes. They just celebrated their 20 years of being there and this restaurant is incredible. The owner and his wife are literally behind the kitchen helping make your food and ensure that you have the best visit. This is a must go to spot if you are anywhere near Naples. My husband and I went on our honeymoon at the Recommendation of my parents who live there for six years. We were not disappointed. We cannot recommend that you make this a part of your trip enough

Osteria D.O.C. is just one of those places you are glad you have been. After you have been, you will look forward to your net visit. With a daily fixed menu you will not leave hungry. When you go be prepared to kick back and enjoy the several courses and wines. The atmosphere is wonderful from the small serving area to the cork lined walls. Patrons are asked to sign their corks and nail them to the wall. From the number of corks you will find you will see how many satisfied customers they have had. If you go to Pozzuoli don’t miss the Osteria D.O.C.
