The Sarn - Powys

This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The establishment is beautifully designed and doesn't resemble a typical pub, but perhaps that's the intention - to be unique. The atmosphere was pleasant and the customer service was excellent; our waiter was very patient and helpful. The compliments to the chef for the pie and tomahawk were well-deserved as they were amazing.

We made a last-minute reservation for a table of 10, including 6 children, for Sunday lunch and the restaurant was very accommodating. The food was delicious, especially the tender beef and pork, and there were plenty of vegetable sides. The service was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It's also a great value for the quality of food and service provided.

The setting is beautiful, with a stunning interior. The staff is attentive and the hosts are fantastic. The food is simply amazing - there's no other way to describe it.

Had the pleasure of visiting The Sarn today with friends. We didn’t book but plenty of space. The food was excellent and fantastic value. Our host was friendly and welcoming. We had two babies in our party and were very welcomed. Huge portions and everything felt like quality ingredients, can’t recommend enough.

Fantastic Sunday lunch , great staff and unfaultable , would recommend it to everyone The beef was tender and tasty, veg was perfect and the red cabbage was awesome , need the recipe for that
