The Farmers Inn - Powys

Party was hosted at the Farmers Inn in Presteigne. Owners were delightful everyone made to feel very welcome.

I went to a birthday party at the Farmers Arms and it was excellent. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the food was lovely, with huge portions. I had the steak pie for mains and I couldn’t manage it all, the landlord let me take the pie dish home so I could finish it the next day! Lovely gesture. Well worth a visit

I and two friends had a basket meal which was excellent value for money, served mid afternoon and both the scampi and chips were cooked perfectly and served with plenty of tartare sauce. I would definitely eat here again, and the beer and lager

Wish we were staying in Presteigne longer so we could eat at The Farmers Inn again! They were extremely accommodating even though they were fully booked, were very friendly and the minted lamb burger surpassed expectations a decent sized stack with plenty of extras for a very reasonable price. My daughter and I both loved it and ate too much as it was so tasty! Definitely recommend this down to earth, welcoming pub. 5 stars!

Tim Sharon run a great down to earth proper pub, frequented by locals but also welcoming to outsiders. The food is lovely, home cooked, not freezer to microwave, plentiful and great value. Most meals also include a drink. This is no glorified gastro pub charging ridiculous prices, just good, honest, wholesome food.
