Cartref Tearoom - Powys

This restaurant is extremely clean and has exceptional service. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is very welcoming. I would rate the cleanliness of the restaurant, service, and location all a perfect 5 out of 5.

We received such a friendly welcome from Phil and Carole after our long journey. Phil and Carole offer a good selection of delicious homemade evening meals which was brilliant for us as there aren't really many nearby places to eat. Our breakfasts were also delicious with plenty of choice on offer. Our room was perfectly spotless, overlooking the fields at the back lovely to watch the sheep and their lambs. Very peaceful night's sleep. Phil and Carole went out of their way to make us feel welcome in their home and to ensure we had everything we needed. A really lovely stay and we would definitely recommend Cartref. Thank you Phil and Carole x

A lovely place to stay with extremely helpful and considerate hosts. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The restaurant was an added bonus and the home cooked meals delicious. Cartref is ideally situated for exploring this picturesque area. We are looking forward to making a return visit.
