Angela's Italian - POWHATAN

We need Angela a few times.. Customer service is AWFUL! The first time we went our server was rude and not with our table.. at times they are not busy and still take a long time to sit. This last time we went in and they said it was a 30-minute wait, and we said it was good and we would wait. Suddenly, what seems the owner (or manager) came to us and said that at once she was not cooking food because of and strange occurrences, but she would not tell us why. And had an attitude when I was speaking, it was at 7:30 and the place was not full. One of the waiters said they were low with the employees, but there are about 4 not doing much. This place is terrible.

Just left. Wasn't busy and fast sitting. Then forget. Two tables were set after us and the server was quick and quick to watch. We sat in a dead zone. So we got up and left. Guess they're not harming for the business to ignore customers.

I am not one to complain about food, however my experience was so bad that I felt compelled to leave a review (especially since I tried to talk to a manager, but one was not available). We order 2 dinners, 2 appetizers, and 2 desserts to go. We get home unpack the food and 1 appetizer is missing. We call to talk to someone and they say the manager will call us back, they are busy (never received a call back). We opened the fried mushrooms and they were over-cooked. So we move onto the dinners and my wife's chicken marsala is BLAND. I am not sure how it was accomplished, but they made the chicken with 0% flavor. I hate to say it, but 80% of the meal ended up in the trash or undelivered. I will continue to hold my breath until the call from the manager occurs. 1 star food and 1 star service!

Ordered 2 calzones from here, and they are definitely not the same from when I ordered about 6 months ago..doughy, falling apart at the edges and like they didn?t brush the top with anything..Then we get there and the prices have gone up, so $30 for two small calzones is a bit much in my book..and was told the website wasn?t accurate because the place was just bought by new owners..if that is the case then it needs to be updated, because false advertising isn?t the way to win new customers. Food is mediocre at best..

Don?t know what has happened to Angela?s. They use to have the best cheeseburgers but ordered last night and got what appeared to be a frozen pattie! Completely tasteless! On top of that I was charged 5.95 to add onion rings to one cheeseburger but no up charge for fries?? AND charged 3% to use my credit card! Completely disappointed! Will be my last trip to this restaurant!
