Marine Inn - Powell River

The room was clean and spacious with an amazing view. I paid a fair price for the room, especially compared to other places in town. The downsides were the poor wifi, weak AC, and some wear on the furniture, but overall I would stay here again. I recommend this place for budget travelers or those who don't mind if the hotel is not top-of-the-line.

Has a 50s style dinner look to the entry of the restaurant. It's run by a ovley couple (they are working on their English so gave patients) and good staff. Only open for breakfast ad lunch. I have only eaten breakfast there and it is always good. You will experience some long time locals there on a daily basis

I had been told that this would be a great place to have breakfast. I liked the diner decor, and the service was very friendly. However, the food was mediocre - especially the hashbrowns and eggs were very greasy. The coffee was the best part.

The breakfast and the service was excellent. We had a service dog with us and nobody complained and we had more coffee and water refills that we could ever want and to top things off the bill was extremely reasonable.

It's a diner. We came here for breakfast. The food was good. Not greasy and good portion size. The staff were very friendly but communicating is a bit comical. Happy to come back again.
