Magpie's Diner - Powell River

I would definitely go out of my way to visit this home style diner. Kind of reminds me of the setting of, Fried Green Tomatoes.“Towanda”

Fantastic ambiance and the BEST VEGAN HASH I’ve ever tasted! This dish includes everything you could desire in a savory breakfast. I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!

One of the best breakfasts in a long time. Very tasty, and nice and hot. The jam for the toast was I'm told blueberry peach, so good!!

I stopped by on a chilly December day while waiting for the ferry back to Comox and had a fantastic breakfast/brunch at Magpie's. At first, I thought the prices looked a bit steep, but the quality of the food and portion sizes were excellent. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I will definitely return and bring some friends the next time I'm in PR!

I wish I could experience dining here for the first time all over again. It might be the best breakfast I've ever had.
