Fish n Chix - Powell River

Fish and chips were good! Fries were good. Portion size was offensive. 2 piece fish was more like one piece cut in 2. Poutine was a marbled cheddar drowned in gravy. I look forward to real cheese curds and not floating in gravy. Server was kind of stunned and lost. Never smiled and looked like she hated her job. Yelling to the cook from the cash register that they got tips and how much. servers like this in Powell River are common and have no people or server skills.

This local restaurant serves great fish and chips and also has an ice cream cooler. Their chips are excellent as is the fish

We enjoy breakfast here occasionally. The food is good, the staff very friendly and helpful but the beverage coolers in the room are very loud and make it difficult to carry on a conversation.

Came here several times during our time in Powell River, both for breakfast and lunch. Was impressed every time with the quality of food as well as the amount of time it took between placing our orders and having them arrive at our table. My favorites are the eggs Benny and the Buffalo chicken poutine. Will definitely stop by again next time we're in town!
