Outback Steakhouse - Poway

The Outback in Poway was great all the staff was great and friendly. The manager Terrance Blakely was wonderful with checking on us during our dinner.

Visited Outback for lunch and there was no wait, restaurant was only about 20% full, and we had a great time. Chalice our waitress was excellent, quick, and the food was cooked correctly. Prices are much higher than they used to be but not extreme. Not sure why the dining crowds have not come back yet but people may still be really cautious about COVID still. Staff and customers did not wear masks ? but we had no issues.

Overall, the food was delicious and plentiful. However, I would not recommend this if you looking for a meal under $20. Sure, there are some plates under 20, but all the good stuff is 20+. Food also takes a while to come out and it's typically very busy, as I asked for bread after receiving my food but didn't get it until I finished eating.

Reservations around 1930 clock. after 18 clock. unprofessional and no customer service. our server kami was the high light and made it the best she could. she had to support our drinks also the bartender who was behind. they are slow and have not been prepared for one of their busiest nights in the year in poway! manager said she couldn't prepare herself and wasn't from poway. there is more what can be said. no comps or discounts or even a free appetizer offered.

I like coffee. I ordered the main, grilled and rare. were mac n cheese, with extra cheese up and carburized, brom not black, and salat. my server was?, and he was excellent?. I asked a coffee before the meal, and, like last week, the answer was, I'm sorry, the machine doesn't work now, that was 2 weeks. I can't believe the administration would allow it. they sell a lot of coffee, called lost sales, plus unfortunate customers. they would have made a few purchases of premium coffee machines and kept them for the next time, but I guess it's too much to expect, customers first I tried to eat my meal, but it didn't compare to standards I expected from them. Maybe I need a new Steak house. it is a shame, because I enjoy eating there, but it does not compare without my coffee.
