Don Pollo Grilled Chicken - Poway

DonPollo is my favorite restaurant in Poway. I love their soup, salads, and chicken breast plate with rice and beans. I always order the salad with quinoa without cranberries and chipotle dressing instead of raspberry. DonPollo doesn't skimp on the veggies in their salads like some other restaurants (like Victor's). The salsa verde is delicious with just the right amount of spice. The only thing I didn't care for were the chips, but that's no big deal since I don't come here for chips. Thank you for being awesome!

This restaurant serves the best chicken soup we have ever tasted! We really enjoy the food at this place. The owner is extremely friendly, as well as the other staff members.

I am just revisiting my previous review from 4 years ago... The food is delicious, the service is fantastic, and the prices are reasonable! I frequently return for the chicken soup. Don Pollo is an excellent dining spot.

Almost as good as Pollos Hermanos, actually it is better since it's in San Diego and not Albuquerque! Seriously, really good chicken here.
