Coney Island Pizzeria - Poway

Noooooo!!! This was the best pizza in Poway. They treated us so well. I'm military and when I got back from deployment they always said thank you to me and even gave me a free pizza. I always came back from overseas to order from them. Now I'm back in Poway and saw the sad news. Hopefully they bounce back because they are missed by my family. I'd leave 1000 stars if I could.

When I moved up north from the downtown area, I knew finding a solid pizza place wouldn't be easy. Thank goodness I found Coney Island. They are as close to NY style pizza I can find. I call ahead and the order is ready within 15 min every time. Both the food and staff are top notch!

Unfortunately it looks like they are now closed for good. Phone number doesn't work and the store is gutted and empty. Shame it was great pizza.

Very good NY pizza here. Ordered for the first time and was impressed with this place. Perfect thin crust with the right amount of density to it. Crust is key in NY pizza and this place has it down. Got the titan after seeing some pics and it was as tasty as it looked. It had pepperoni, meatball, mushrooms, garlic and ricotta. Just the right amount of everything to work together and taste amazing. I'm definitely gonna be ordering from here again and trying some of their other specialty pizzas. Some of the white pies sound great also. Ignore any negative reviews and dismiss them as the clueless thoughts of people with horrible taste. Listen to me and try this Pizza!

I don 't know why people here say that Bronx Pizza is the best and just like NYC. It is not great NY pizza, plus I never heard the Bronx having good pizza. It 's going to be from Queens and from Brooklyn : This place is the real deal NY style street pizza. I have ordered from here a few times and it 's consistently good! The sauce is sweet and not acidic at all. The cheese calzone had the freshest and tastiest ricotta. If you want good New York pizza this is the place, or any pizza this is where you go! The woman at the front is very nice as well.
