Casa Dos Frangos - Póvoa de Varzim

You'll get the best barbecue chicken of any place I have yet to visit. You know it's good when it's jam-packed with locals, both during lunch and dinner times. The ambiance is simple, but it's not about that, it's about the food. My favourite course when I eat here is chicken soup to start, 2 servings of frangos/chicken/fries (ask for the spicy option!! , Then finish off with their incredible homemade chocolate mousse. Drink a good white or red bottle of Vinho Verde with the meal, and you'll be in for a real good local treat. Highly recommended!

So, so. A huge restaurant famed for its barbecued chicken. Very busy, but nothing too special about the food. The portions look huge, however, there is only a skinny chicken on a mountain of fries. Reasonably priced and the staff were pleasant.

We ate here with an entire youth soccer team. This restaurant is designed to handle very large crowds with great service and they live up to it. We did a family style meal including roast chicken, pork chops, steak, rice, and fries. Highly recommend a stop here. We dined here before going to a professional soccer match at Rio Ave in town.

Delicioso o frango, o molho e embalado com as batatas, é impossível, não deixar a mulher para ir lá. Eu recomendo!
