Shadows On The Hudson - Poughkeepsie

Just had my 10th wedding anniversary at Shadows 6/29 and it was an elegant and beautiful affair. Everyone there from the front of the house to table) were amazing and made sure we enjoyed our time there. Thanks again for making it an even more memorable day!

One of the most pleasant dining experiences of my life. Our table split the charcuterie and the cheese board, both of which were phenomenal. We were all completely satisfied with our meals as well. I had the seared duck, which was crispy and delicious, and I highly recommend it. Gorgeous views as well. Would love to return in warmer weather and sit outside on the stunning deck.

Really good food, servers need to know their wines a little better, but otherwise we had an excellent experience here. The views of the Hudson River are beautiful and the seafood was excellent. Really tender kalamari and clams. Definitely a spot I will come back to for the raw oysters. I would say the only two things that were not that great was the kimchi fried rice that came with the seafood skewers, very mushy, and the truffle fries were not very truffley

I’ve only been here 3x but all of my experiences dining here are the same. Our last visit in September 2021 was phenomenal! They have one of the best coffee in the USA. Their Fra Diavlo, calamari and steak are all really good with nice size portions. Polite and attentive servers. The ambience and view were amazing!
