Joe Cristiano's Pizza - Poughkeepsie

The marinara sauce is excellent and they offer a classic selection of cheeses. This was my fifth or sixth visit to the restaurant and I have tried many items on the menu. The prices are reasonable for basic items, but a bit high for more specialty dishes. However, if you're looking for one of the best pizzerias in a competitive market, I highly recommend giving them a try. If you're still going to your regular pizza place for a special meal or special occasion, you're missing out.

If you only order one thing at Joe Cristiano, make sure it's the Oma pizza. However, I would recommend ordering more than one item because their pizza menu is very strong, offering basic pizzas with a variety of toppings as well as deluxe specialty pizzas with multiple toppings. Both the Salt Point Turnpike and Hyde Park locations are great stops to grab a few slices on the go. I have been to both locations multiple times and have never been disappointed with their selection. Lucky to have so many great pizza options in Dutchess County, and Joe Cristiano is definitely one of them!

Very góod pizza. I got my favorite Sicilian, and it was perfect, and be reasonably priced. I will return to this place next time I want to buy a pizza.

Would've given 5 stars but the prices are ridiculously high. $42 for a large cheese pizza and 20 wings. I just CANNOT wrap my head around these astronomical prices (from MOST of the pizza places) for a plain cheese pizza. It's SIMPLY dough, tomato sauce, and mozzarella cheese. God forbid, you get a topping on your pizza and pay $2+ but can still see the pizza under it/them. When you pay $2+ for a topping, it should cover the entire pie.

Tonight we ordered dinner. Some subs, pasta and a calazone. I would not order dinner again. For a pizza and wings it's a great place I was greatly disappointed with the food but will still be a great place for wings and pizza.
