Gennie's - Poughkeepsie

I picked up 3 Rib dinners tonight, oh my it was wonderful. I can't wait to go back and try the whole menu! Great thanks that gennie serves 350 members of the Poughkeepsie community for Thanksgiving. many work and effort for a small community restaurant. much appreciated!

I had a wonderful experience at Gennie’s. that was delicious. I fed my whole family. we had the fried fish with mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, potato salad, greens, maismuffins and because we had deserts that was bananenpudding. I'll go back soon and when my family comes out of nyc, I'll take her there. the girl waiting for me was very pleasant. Thank you. chef carlos.

Best soul eat in our opposite. carlos always makes various seafood on a daily ground. whatever you want, he's always ready to go the extra mile. there is a lot of love and family history in gennies.

I had to search this place for the attempt out there on the fishkill block party yesterday. tastes amazing eating was not expensive! can not wait to stop in restaurant soon!

Best Soul Food in NYS and beyond. The owner/chef couldn't be nicer. Great food and great people. I highly recommend Gennie's.
