Scallops were ok. Freshly grilled on bacon and caramelised onions. Two types of lobster rolls. One was plain in melted butter roll, the other with mayo and celery. Tasty but portion was small. Not worth paying $21 for one roll. Service was sub standard. Waitress didnt assumed she could clear the table, didnt smile nor ask how the meal was. When it came to payment time, she had no $2 coins to change for my notes.
We were so looking forward to this great idea ,located in our lovely little laneway. While the menu has been expanded since opening, unfortunately service has not.A recent meal had the roll beautifully cooked with a lovely taste of lobster, can help but be disappointed with the amount of meat.A side of pickle was without a doubt the most offensive thing in the industry, a pickle was the size of a matchstick with the flavor to match.Management do not seem to care when provided with feedback, it feels as if you just want something fir free, rather than constructive feedback
It was completely worthy to drive to this small secluded restaurant. The lobster rolls are very very good. We tried both the connecticut and maine style lobster rolls and both are excellent.
I really liked this place and hadn't had a good lobster roll since I was in New England last year. This place was pretty close and it was less expensive to eat here than it was in Boston and Maine where it comes from. Go figure... Anyway, food and staff were both excellent. I would love to go back again.
