Added extra chili which became spicy but enjoyed it. Only thing I wish the chicken was cut into smaller pieces as the slices of chicken breast were big.
The rice paper rolls were fresh and delicious. The Hannoi spring rolls were tasty but slightly on the oily side. The Beef vermicelli was good. The only let down was the 'Special Boneless Chicken on Rice '. At $14.5 it 's served with a mound of white boiled rice and some slivers of boiled bok choi. The chicken was over cooked/tough and flavourless. Served with just soy sauce as a condiment this dish was a total fail. Nothing like Hainan chicken it 's trying to emulate. Overall get the rice paper rolls and the Vermicelli salads they 're great.
I was fairly impressed with my meal here! I got the beef Pho and it was delicious. I was worried the broth would be too salty, but it was perfect! Everything tasted fresh and it was exactly what I wanted!
This small place serves hugely delicious food! We stumbled across it while walking around the area and it is now one of our world-favorite restaurants which we will go out of our way to visit when we go to Sydney. We had the Hanoi bun cha which was hot, looked great in presentation and really delicious. All the other items we saw being served made our mouths water. It looks like a “mom-n-pop” shop and is not fancy. You will enjoy it if you like Vietnamese food!
The pho took me back to breakfasts in Hanoi with the delicate flavours. Great beef in it. The regular is quite large and not that cheap, so it would have been better to have a smaller option rather than the larger option that they have. Rice paper rolls also excellent. Good drinks, good staff, nice small space.
