The Coach House - Potton

The venue is lovely and the staff are friendly. I have dined here many times before, but the last couple of visits have been disappointing. On both occasions, we waited over an hour for our food to arrive and ended up leaving before eating. More recently, they had run out of all vegetarian options except for Fish and Chips, so unfortunately we left again without eating. Despite these recent experiences, I have had great meals at the Coach in the past and would still recommend them. However, I will be sure to double check the menu options before going again.

This was our first time dining at this restaurant, as we are considering moving to the area and wanted to explore the local dining options. The food was excellent, with some unique twists such as the chicken katsu burger, which was a pleasant surprise. The dining room was cozy, and the service was top-notch, making us feel well taken care of by the staff. The bar area had a good vibe without encroaching on the dining room, and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Three out of four of our meals at the restaurant were fantastic. However, the fourth meal, which was a steak, was not cooked properly and had to be returned. Fortunately, we were fully refunded for it. It was strange that the staff did not inquire about how we wanted our steak cooked. We would have liked it medium rare, but it was served completely raw. Despite the disappointing steak preparation, the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, appearance, and value.

The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. We particularly enjoyed the homemade fish fingers and sweet potato fries combo we had as a starter. We can't wait to come back again soon!

I always love dining at the Coach House - the food is consistently amazing and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend to everyone!
