Przekaż informację zwrotnąRecently visited Symon 's, and was really disappointed with the experience. Crab soup was watery and no flavour smelt like they used 'octopus water ' while making the soup. Furthermore, steak ordered medium rare came in as well done, chewy and almost little to no taste.
Some of the best butter chicken I’ve ever had. If you need a break from the hotel buffet this definitely satisfies the cravings. We had fantastic service and every food and beverage item served was exquisite. Can highly recommend a visit.
JAN 2023: After 3 years we were so excited to be able to return to one of our favourites, and if it was possible the food is even tastier! If 6 's was possible I would give them happily, consistently good, definitely worth a visit. JAN 2020: Indian and traditional Mauritian cuisine, one of our favorites on the East coast, always a treat, friendly staff and great food.
Recently visited Symon's Restaurant for a birthday dinner. I was very disappointed with the whole experience with them. It took them almost 1hr30 min between our appetizer and main course. When I spoke with the owners/manager they claimed that it's due that the restaurant is busy. And also that they give the guest time between the appetizer and the main course. However, no one came to ask us if we are ready for the main course. In between, they also forgot 1 appetizer, which join 30 min later. The restaurant was indeed busy. But not fully occupied. Lots of kids running around and were loud. If you want a quiet dining experience it's not the place.. The food was not very tasty even though it's not cheap. I had better tasty food in other Mauritian Restaurants on the island. The seafood combo was not tasty at all. On the other hand, the waiters were polite and responsive. My review is purely based on genuine observations. And the people accompanying that day shared the same feedback. Definitely i won't go back.
The first time I ordered fried noodle with chicken, it came without chicken. I called to inform them about the mistake. No action. Today, I went to order two take away noodles. Waited for like 30 minutes. Nothing. Asked the girl at the counter, she seemed angry. After few mins inquired again, she sent her colleague in the kitchen. So much inquiry for 2 god damm fried noodles. We had to left the place.
