Alle Rose - POSINA

Went this past December. We go to Italy often due to having family in Vicenza and every time we go there we hit all those mom and pop 's type restaurants throughout its villages in the northern region. This particular gnocchi was absolutely delicious (best we 've had of the various times we 've gone to Italy). They use potatoes harvested locally to make their own recipes. They provided us with a couple of sauce options to pour over the gnocchi. Although it was busy with clients (Christmas holidays), the service and hospitality was excellent. They served us tons of gnocchi, sauces, bread, wine, cold cuts with local cheeses from nearby Asiago for for total 110 euros (party of 9) for and average of 12.25 euro per person. When checking out, the owner offered us a free shot of home made Liquirizia (a liquor/Cordial made of Licorice), the perfect shot before heading out to the winter cold! Its not a fancy, but a typical, family owned restaurant. We will definitely return and highly recommend il Ristorante Alle Rose.

It is a very nice place, with friendly waiters, where you can eat genuine meal. It's the best place to get the gnocchi because they are really home made. It very cheap.

Fantastic food and service. Try the prosciutto as a starter. Loved the pasta with poppy seeds
