Small, very welcoming two-star hotel 5 minutes walk from Poschiavo train station in a period building. Comfortable mountain-style rooms with wooden furniture, clean bathrooms that are a little small but with all the comforts.

It was simply an excellent place where to pass New Year's holiday. Hotel Altavilla has 2 stars but they offer the service difficult to find in any 3stars hotels. The rooms are spacious and SUPER clean. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are big and new. The breakfast is rich, with fresh and local products. Gluten free breakfast is equally good and safe, as regular bread is put aside, far from everything. They offer many additional services like snow rockets rental. The staff is kind and always happy to help! Just so you know: there is no elevator in the hotel, but they will help you with the suitcases. A big thank to all the staff for you kindness and help! Wir waren sehr entäuscht das Bett hatte einen breiten Graben. Das personal ging nicht auf unsere Wünsche ein war teilweise unfreundllich und beantwortete Fragen mit gegenfragen oder zog diese ins lächerliche. Werde nie wieder dort hin gehen. Bezüglich Sauberkeit gibt es nichts zu beanstanden.

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel in altem Palazzo. Einfache, renovierte Zimmer. Sehr freundlicher Service, Besitzer sind wahre Gastgeber. Wir fühlten uns wohl. Regionale Küche mit feinen Spezialitäten. Wir kommen wieder.
