The Beehive - Portumna

Delicious! it is a small restaurant, but it is totally worth it! the lady who worked there (owners? was super friendly and every food we got was homemade. you can observe them as they prepare the meals. we went there with seven people and she was not challenged. when they are in portumna, they will get her eating there! highly recommended.

Four of us popped in for dinner and the food was freshly made and very tasty... definitely worth a visit

Had lunch here with a dear friend and was amazed by the quality of the food which was very endearing to our pallets. I ordered a chicken salad which had every vegetable in it and was very moorish. A side portion of chips which was cooked to perfection finished it of completely. My husband and friend enjoyed their sausage and chips , again cook to perfection. Will certainly dine here again. Lots of menus to choose from and all home made and desserts to die for.

We were caught for time and had been told about this place in the Workhouse. Our group were so happy to be taken in at the last minute and even happier to be looked after immediately. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced for such a diner.
