Samphire - Portsmouth

I will never do it. they allowed me to book a table that was not even available! when they book with open table, make sure they check with the restuarant directly! that happened to me twice!

Went to samphire for our anniversary and also took my daughter along. The staff were very accommodating and attentive without being to over bearing. The cocktails were amazing although my daughter would not be able to drink more than the one she had otherwise we would be carrying her outside!!!! the food that we had was excellent and the portion sizes were very good too. Everything was cooked to perfection and for fish lovers you will not be disappointed. We are already looking to re book to take my oldest daughter for her birthday and I urge everyone to try this restaurant its a gem of a place

Maybe it was nice if this opentable website did not use illegal samphire and fake bookings taken for them! it was told us that our booking did not exist because the restaurant did not use an open table. ruined our night by this was

The restaurant has been recently renovated to a high standard with a characterful design. There is a nice distinction between the dining area and the cocktail bar area. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes and the quality is excellent.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The waitstaff were all very friendly.
