Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe were greeted by a very rude guy who complained about us not waiting to be seated. There was no notice saying this and no greeter at the entrance so what do they expect? He made us feel very unwelcome and it was a miserable start to the meal. You have to order with your phone and they only take cards. Apart from a group of children on a birthday party there were very few customers on a Friday evening so word has probably got around what a miserable experience it is. The food itself was actually quite good, but we would never go there again due to how we were treated, and the place is totally devoid of atmosphere.
This restaurant failed on every count with us. we walked in just before the lunch rush and had to ask for a waitress. when she came she was extremally annoyed I wanted to order with a person and not a app. we ordered 2 pizzas and garlic bread as well as salad. only one pizza came and after an hour and asking 7 time for 2nd pizza and garlic bread she brought the bread. we didn't use the salt as it had black insects in. when going to use the water machine we intently payed and left as brown slime/sludge was visible on the taps and in the drip tray .
You know what you'll get with Pizza Hut I guess, but it's a pretty average, a huge pizza and over priced drinks. They have an app based ordered system, which is not only slower than allowing a staff member to take your order, but in our case also had incorrect prices (on a 2 drinks for £x offer). Additionally I guess that very people leave tips, as you would have to do this before the meal was served, rather than at the end. We only went there because it was next to our hotel – would we go back NO
Staying at the hotel next door I had a few choices of where to grab some dinner. I made the wrong choice. Had to wait a while to be seated despite it being quiet apart from a couple of big tables in. Then had to wait to order and I had to ask someone to take my order despite staff walking past me a few times. Everything I used needed to be wiped and cleaned. No one came and gave me a bowl for the salad or a glass for the drink so got up and got my own. Asked for a glass and then asked for a clean one. Needed to wipe my plate and cutlery before using. There was a party of kids in creating havoc, I can live with the noise , they were kids but they kept running up and helping themselves to the salad bar using their fingers and no one seemed to care. The parents should have done but the staff should have asked them to stop. There was food everywhere on the floor and no attempt to sweep it up despite a member of staff walking around with a dust pan. Oh, the food was ok I guess but I was kind of put off by the mess and dirt. If I’d been asked by the staff member giving me the bill I would have given the feedback directly. Very poor.
What a disapointing experience So, I was on my way back from a long round trip with a friend, who had just came along for the journey and we stopped off after 4 hours into our trip at about 8:20pm on 'All Hallows Eve ' and it was a torrid evening weather wise, we decided to stop at Pizza Hut Port Solent and were 'greeted ' If you can call it that) by a member of staff who made us feel as if we were intruding, rather than being welcomed. It was as if he just wanted to go home and as if we inerupted him in his quest of cleaning tables for his impending departure. Not a friendly smile or greeting and simply said I 'll get the menus, picked 2 up and off he went! We followed him to a table and we were told to, when we have chosen from the menu, order from the QR code on the table and off he went again. My freind and I commented on how unwelcoming we thought he was to each other, as he walked away! Hey Ho we chose our food and ordered and our drinks they came first followed by our sharing pizza. I had ordered a Pepsi out of the bottle and requested Ice from the menu and my friend ordered a Latte. When the drinks arrived, the Coffee was Cold and we told our server and it was replaced with a hot drink as it should have been in the first place). The bottle of Pepsi arrived and was put on the table and he was going to walk away when I asked for a straw as I was only offered a 'Cup ' ! I said, 'in that case, may I have a straw instead of a cup '. No mention of any ice)!! The food arrived which was the whole very good, although the Chicken Supreme wasn 't exactly stacked with Chicken. Fries were fresh and hot and as expected. There was no Check Back to see if our food was OK. We ate our food and as the only other couple in the restaurant, before we got up to leave, we asked if we could have a takeaway box, this was plonked on our table and after we had placed our pizza in the box and we got up to leave, we were now the only customers in the restaurant. We were passed by the person that showed us to the table and what I can only assume was the manager/owner as this person had earlier barked out at our table server, to take a takeaway order for someone who had arrived earlier and we were totally ignored by all the Staff as we vacated. We even looked over and said goodbye to where they were standing as we were leaving, with the view to thank them also, but we were totally ignored. I remarked on my exit to my friend that I felt that after spending nearly £50 £46.67 to be exact), the whole experience was very underwhelming and I would be writing this review as I felt that the staff needed some, what I would call, a refresher in the Basics of Customer Service. I understand that Pizza Hut is not a high end restaurant, but one should expect at least a friendly greeting from staff, a check back to see if all is OK and a friendly goodbye and a thanks for being there! In this place, we got nothing!!! Poor Show.
