The Wilder - Portsmouth

We had a fantastic meal last night. The cocktails were excellent, well-crafted, and perfectly sized. The duck scotch egg was delightful, featuring a slightly runny yolk, and the thrice-cooked potatoes were both crunchy and creamy (quite filling, and we probably didn’t need that dish, but it was delicious). The scallops were cooked to perfection, and the kid ragu with pappardelle was enjoyable, though a tad too salty for our taste. The desserts looked incredible, but... unfortunately, we couldn't manage any more! The bar area was quite loud, while the dining room was somewhat quieter, giving off a lively vibe. We will definitely return!

We had a fantastic time! The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly towards our large group of kids. The espresso martini was amazing—absolutely delicious!

The cocktails were absolutely perfect, and the snacks were incredible—definitely try the peanuts and the thrice-cooked potatoes, along with everything else on the snack menu. We chose to hold off on ordering dinner since everything we had so far was so well done, and our dinner turned out to be just as excellent. The butternut steak was so satisfying that I didn't miss the taste of traditional steak at all, and I’m a big meat lover! The venue is ideal for a cocktail party, a romantic dinner, or a casual get-together with friends. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you for a fantastic meal; we'll definitely be coming back!

The Wilder nailed it! Such a beautiful atmosphere, food is delicious, drinks are the best in town (which is an understatement), and the service is outstanding. I had a really wonderful night, I will be back many times over

Have thoroughly enjoyed for late Saturday night drinks, and Sunday Brunch with the girls! Delicious cocktails, fast-friendly service, and yummy creative food!! Can’t wait to go back
