The Beach Plum - Portsmouth

Everything was delicious! I ordered the fisherman's platter, which included tasty scallops, fish, shrimp, and fried clams. Yum, yum, yum!

This restaurant offers an excellent variety of seafood, primarily fried options. The fries are cooked to perfection, delicious, and not at all greasy. I've been to both this location and the one in Epping, and I have never been let down. The portion sizes are generous as well.

Our Airbnb host suggested this place for the best lobster roll in the area. While she mentioned that the seaside location offered a better atmosphere, we ended up getting lost and found ourselves here instead. The lobster roll was fantastic—packed with flavorful lobster and served on a soft, toasted bun. However, the ambiance was lacking. It was the most I've ever spent on a meal while sitting in a chilly restaurant on a picnic bench, haha! But the food certainly made it worthwhile.

Open on Easter Sunday! The restaurant serves food and ice cream. The menu features classic American surf and turf options, from hamburgers to lobster rolls. My family and I, along with a friend, visited because "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!" I had the German Chocolate Cake, which was delicious, while my son had chocolate ice cream, and my friend enjoyed a sundae with black raspberry flavor. We had a great time!

I left this place feeling completely satisfied after indulging in a seafood feast! The clams, scallops, chowder, and even the ice cream were all hot and fresh. I can't wait to return!
