Scioto Ribber - Portsmouth

That was my second trip here. The first was disappointing enough that it took 10 years until I tried again. My main complaint is this trip the waiting for placement. The hostage is out in the cold. It says “Please wait to seated” next to several characters say “No waiting zone. Not congregate.’ We're confused. They were moved and brought out again to wait in the cold when benches are available inside. The food was nice. All our fried foods were perfect! The steak of my Hubby was huge and well cooked! It has me pink that the menu said they were not responsible for steaks ordered via medium. Would visit again!

It was our 45th Anniversary, and a 45 minute wait, but worth every minute of it! The food there is always delicious, and they never disappoint! I think this will be Our Place for our future Anniversaries and all the other celebrations in between! I did buy a shirt as an Anniversary souvenir! Love it all so much, and the employees were so friendly and helpful in spite of how busy they were Thank you Scioto Ribber for a fantastic evening!

Amazing Steak!! We sat out in the new patio. I ordered the “small” Ribeye which was 16oz smoked to perfection. The most tender steak. Onion rings were fantastic and the smoked beans were full of flavor. Service was great! Highly recommend to anyone who loves a good steak.

Can't say enough good about this place. I'm from Cincinnati where Jeff Ruby's is the big name in steaks.... well this place is better at a much better price! Steak was out of this world and no sauce was needed! I will make the 2hr drive again at some point just to eat here!

There were nine of us in town for a convention and we stopped here for dinner. The atmosphere was great and the service was top notch. The steaks are smoked in a smoker it really gives it a unique and special flavor. To all in the Portsmouth Ohio area it's worth the time to stop and get a bite to eat.
