Very good food, excellent helpful people, and the view can’t be beat

Got lunch here and took it back to the beach, the food was fine for fried beach food, but we had a very poor experience when we returned for ice cream a little later. I ordered the dairy free cookies and cream, and when the woman (presumably a manager gave it to me she yelled at the cashier and then at me because apparently he forgot to charge the dollar per scoop up-charge for vegan ice cream (2 scoops in a small, so 2 dollars . For his part, the cashier had been nothing but efficient and courteous both times I was there, he didn't deserve a tongue lashing, especially not over such a low dollar mistake that the computer should have handled in the first place (clearly he entered the right ice cream since the receipt had the vegan ice cream, why would the up-charge require a manual step? As part of her diatribe she also told us that the vegan ice cream costs more, 60 dollars per container, which is why the up-charge. While I can certainly appreciate that, I'm not clear how this was a customer's responsibility to know or to enforce, since it was not listed anywhere on the menu nor do I see it mentioned on the website or on Facebook. As for the ice cream itself it seemed mediocre to me, but that may have just been the bad taste the manager left in my mouth. I know they won't care, but I won't be back.

Good times with the family. My mom wanted to bring us here and it was amazing.
