Paddy's American Grille - Portsmouth

We've eaten at Paddy's a number of times, and have always had a really good meal. This last time left a lot to be desired. My meal was clearly (to me) cooked by someone other than the person who'd prepared our most recent lunches. I had the Smokehouse Turkey Panini, which I've had numerous times there because it's so good. This time, not so much. The cheese on that sandwich was not at all what I'd gotten each time in the past. It was definitely not the right cheese to have used at all on a panini, and the fries were basically half cooked. My husband had a salad that had odd things in it some of them looked like they were leftovers from another salad, and a couple things looked like the wrong end of some unknown salad ingredient.Our waiter took our orders, delivered our food and we never saw him again after that. After this meal and the lack of anyone stopping by our table to check on things, we will move this restaurant to the far back burner. As mentioned above, we've eaten here many times, and have not had these problems ever before. Eating out has gotten more and more expensive, and it's a real shame to have this kind of experience, both food wise and service wise.

We ordered Buffalo dry rub wings, Salad and Cheddar Broccoli soup.The salad was good. Soup was a little bland. The wings were small and not very flavorful. Last month we came here and the wings were big juicy and flavorful. What happens this time? I asked the waitress and she didn’t even try to make it better. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Always a great place to visit when in the area. The food and service is great.

The burger was cooked perfectly for myself and my wife, plus the best fries I've had in a long time.
