Martino's Pizzeria - Portsmouth

Honestly, this is the best pizza I've had in Rhode Island! I've tried pizza in NYC, and while it's good, nothing compares to this. The pizza is amazing, and the staff is wonderful!

The pizza is absolutely amazing! The taste, sauce, ingredients, and crust are all top-notch. Honestly, it rivals Pizza Regina in the North End. Whenever I visit my sister in Portsmouth, we always order from here. I live by the sea and always make sure to take some home. My partner loved it even when reheated. I hope they open a location in Seekonk! This place is fabulous! Thank you for taking pride in your product!

I ordered a classic New York-style pizza, and it arrived on time with my order correct. The cheese sticks, however, were a bit disappointing. While the flavor was good, they ended up soggy, and I prefer a crispy cheese stick with a melty center. It’s possible they just don’t hold up well during delivery. On the positive side, the pizza was delicious, and I really enjoyed their tomato sauce, which is slightly sweeter than the usual pizza sauce. I will likely order from them again. It may not be outstanding, but it definitely satisfied my late-night cravings.

For the price, the pizza was outstanding. I ordered a large custom white pie for $20, and it was loaded with toppings. We're really glad we discovered this spot; I'd choose to drive here for pizza over most places on the island!

Honestly hate to give bad reviews, but this was just horrible. Maybe it was just a bad night. Ordered a house special pizza and onion rings. Onion rings were actually spongey...worst I have ever had, and the pizza was just terrible. Wet in the center and when you picked it up all the toppings slid off. Finally, the counter person, the older, skinnier of the men working, seemed bothered and angry. Clearly not a customer friendly encounter. Its a lot of money to spend for foodthat went in the trash. Look...its just pizza...I'll survive, but I hope this business uses this review to improve their processes and customer service.
