Ocean Lounge - Porto Moniz

Great spot right by the coast and provided good shade from the blazing sun. Ordered the garlic bread and the grilled limpets in garlic butter. All lovely, topped off by the waves crashing around the edge of the restaurant as the tide rose. Good service, friendly and efficient.

At first this appeared to be a place for snacks but as it turned out they were preparing some very good food. We had salada de polvo followed by a Picadinho which is cubed beef with a gravy sauce including fries. Really good and first time we tried this typical dish from Madeira. If your in Porto Moniz to swim definitely don't hesitate to try this excellent casual restaurant.

Staff perfect. Fries very good, large portion 1 portion is good for 2 as snack Price a bit higher, but ok. Capirinha, small non alc beer fries : 18€

Was für eine schöne Reise. Es gab eine Flut auf dem Transport. Das bedeutet, dass die Wellen über den Rand kommen. Es war wunderbar. Ich und die Gruppe mochten es wirklich. Absolut sicher.

Tolle Lage im Pool von Mortiz. Bedienung prompt und unkompliziert. Essen besser als erwartet. Alles prima. Auch noch preisgünstig
