O Ze Manel - Porto De Mos

I love O Ze Manel so, so much!!! I have visited Portugal twice, and both times I have made many visits to O Ze Manel! The food is absolutely amazing, the service is brilliant and the atmosphere in the restaurant is just wonderful! The staff go above and beyond to provide an excellent service to each and every customer and I just love this restaurant so much. Also, their francesinha is the best francesinha I have ever eaten and I have tried many! I can't recommend this restaurant enough, it really is the best. I can't wait to be back in Portugal next so I can enjoy an amendoa amarga, an espresso and a francesinha at the best restaurant in Portugal!

After the cave tour, we were looking for a proper Portuguese lunch. And O Ze Manel answered the call. Our brilliant waiter recognised we were English, sat us at a great table and took us through the menu a brilliant €8.50 lunch with a choice of mains fish grill, pork cheeks and beef joint. We went for the fish and cheeks, both were excellent, generously portioned and delicious. This was followed by a dessert tray bursting with options, including the local delicacy (the name escapes me). Then coffee, and the bill. Even if you're not coming to the caves, seek out this place. Our favourite Portugal meal.

After visiting the grutas we walked down into the village to get something to eat. It's a small restaurant but it looked like it's also popular among the locals. Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered fish stew, salmon, steak, francesinha and pizza for the kids. The food was served pretty fast and was really good. Then the waiter came with a big tray full of desserts that we could choose from. Coco cream, chocolate mouse, custard with whipped cream and crushed oreo coockies and lot's more... really nice!

Very good, tasty food but very limited choices. There were only two fish dishes and a small range of meat dishes. However the food was delicious and the service was reasonably quick and friendly.

I took my family for dinner at Ze Manel last weekend. While the kids enjoyed the gourmet burguers,w ith all the new trendy features, me and my wife loved the Spiritual codfish and the Roasted meat stuffed with Farinheira . Addiitonally, the people were super ncie and welcoming. Finally, the bill came and it was only 40 EUR for a 5 person dinner! We will definitely go back everytime we drive by Mira d 'Aire. Thank you all at Ze Manel!
