The first visit we both went for the buffet, which had an amazing selection of vegetarian options that were presented beautifully, and seasoned with spices in a very creative way where every dish was unique and incredibly flavorful. There were more dishes than you could count, and my plate (and belly) was full long before I could try them all. The second visit, we ordered veggie burgers a la carte, and they were delicious. It's so sad that there is nothing to compare in my home town, and Tucson was named a city of gastronomy. The key to Viva creative kitchen is that the number of ingredients in any one dish was very limited, and the flavors were subtle but the experience of sampling so many choices was really satisfying.
The food here is excellent, almost at the level of a Michelin star! The starters were particularly tasty, we had the ceviche and the salmon tartare, and loved them both. The portobello mushroom was nice as well but we found the mussels a bit dry and too spicy. Excellent service and friendly as well! Can book but after 7:45 it’s first come first serve.
Just fabulous!! Your palate will thank you, we had the tuna bowl with edamame and seaweed and avocado, portobello mushroom roasted with eggplant, and Camembert fondue on homemade bread. All were delicious and the presentation and service were flawless. Please do yourself a favor and visit, but make sure you’re early as the place is small. You can even sit at the counter and see the chef prepare all the fresh ingredients in front of you. Gastronomic heaven!
Good eating with GF elements marked on the menu. I explained my care about cross-contamination and the waiter cook told me that my eating would be prepared on another surface. they said that they are brot in the kitchen (I assume before the restaurant opens) so easy to be aware when they have a heavy air allergy. they didn't brot while my food was prepared, but so it was good that I didn't get sick.
