Shiko Tasca Japonesa - Porto

On a very rainy night in Porto we went here for carry out. The food was excellent. Not only was the quality of the fish great but the flavors were great. We ordered the gyosa, the Tataki salmon and the Futomaki. I wish we had ordered more of the gyosa, as I could have eaten all of them. The salmon was lightly seared as advertised and the sauce was wonderful. The Futomaki was also great.

Everything was delicious. The starters with the delicious mackerel and salmon it was the top of the top. The sushi was ver very good. Without question one of the best in Porto if not the best.

We found this restaurant online and google indicated it opened at 19:00. We also couldn’t find anything about reservations so we decided to take our chances and walk over. The door was open but all the tables were reserved and they didn’t actually open until 19:30. BUT, they could not have been nicer and more accommodating. We had 2 tables put together outside, where we were happy to sit, and had attentive service and wonderful food. Definitely a highlight for us in Porto!

Uma experiência memorável, em todos os sentidos. Do ambiente informal, intimista mas muuuuuito agradável, passando pelo atendimento super simpático e profissional, até á comida divinal!!!! Nas idas ao Porto é uma paragem obrigatória!
