Sai Cao - Porto

Sai cão is truly the best for its delicious food , the meat stakes and grilled fish platters are out of the world . Good in quality and portions are big. I make it a point to visit the restaurant on my visit to Porto every time .

This restaurant is a must if you want to eat like a local in Porto. Far from the touristic areas and restaurants, it offers big and tasty portions for decent prices. I would definitely recommend the steak which is served with rice, fries and a small salad. The staff is very friendly and tries to help, even though they barely speak English. Highly recommended to make a reservation, although have in mind that probably you will have to wait some time till you get seated (we had a reservation at 9pm and had to wait for almost an hour).

The waiters were really kind. Handwritten menus and almost no tourists. Nice experience! Thank you for the awesome service!

If it comes to a tender grilled Steak I can't imagine a better Place to go to. Hi quality, very good service though it is always crowded like hell, very cheap prices. Maybe not the place to have a candle light dinner. But always worthwhile to visit for with friends.
