City centre, good facilities, staff super friendly, excellent food

I arrived right at the end of Lunch , they did seat me and my 2 friends (aussie and 2 brits) well it took forever to get the chicken and fish dishes to Us, when it came out to the table, it was cold and the chicken was dry and the fish was very small and burnt, the tapas and sides dishes were fine, the beer cold,But the staff were more interested in feeding themselves than us . I was told by 2 locals that the food was good , but they didn't show it to Us

We ate here twice and had steak both nights but different types. Both were delicious! The price of the steak was good 17.50 for the Costole Vitela, for both and they were melt in the mouth. We had a bottle of Evel, a local wine at 9.50 and I can recommend it, one of the best I have tasted. The bill came to 37.55 euros, but that included the things popped on the table to nibble. We didn’t want the olives and they took them away, so you can just say no but the rest were tasty.

Top restaurant. We followed the smell of BBQ meat across the square and were not disappointed. Wife had half chicken and I had the half ribs. Beautifully cooked. Washed down with a good bottle of wine. Three courses, bottle of wine and coffees for £29. Great value. Staff were friendly as well. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Love this place. Always fab. AND only place to get a decent lunch late Sunday afternoon (post marathon in our case)
