Osteria Di Porto

We were close to the cathedral and it was cold, windy and rainy outside and we found this restaurant just a few minutes walk from Dom Hugo. Our server (which we believe was the owner) was friendly and helpful with our orders. We chose a bottle of Cava and when she found it, it was not cold, so she insisted to cool it and brought us Sangria while we waited. The homemade pasta was delicious and we also enjoyed the pizza. Thank you for bringing warmth on such a cold day! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

From when you go to the door, the service is fantastic, almost feels a bit of Italy... Very warm, friendly, no great sales job, just make you feel comfortable and see what you need. The host/manager was super friendly and showed us the size of the dishes so that we do not have order, also let us order a starter and just relax for a bit. The food was fantastic. Pizza crust thin, somewhat crisp. Pesto exceptional (you might not need the whole huge Buratta ball btw, it was a bit above the top and we would have been happy with the pasta! . Pretty good salad (we are Angelenos so long a few fruity greens... Around the corner of our hotel. Easy access in the city centre, close to all normal tourist sites. Go for the service, stay for the food, but add it to your safe list for Porto.
